i really did my homework before purchasing this climber!! i wanted something that wasn't too small, was durable, and just plain fun. we have had this about a week and i am beyond happy that i chose this one. i put it together myself (with very little experience) in about 5 minutes! no joke, it's that easy!!
my two year old and his slightly younger cousin have PLENTY of room to play together on this climber, and i love the fact that they can grow into it a bit (with the rock wall sides, which are too difficult for them at the moment). my son wants to play with his "park" (that's what he calls all climber-like play-things) all day. i may make the bottom part a sandbox but for now he just climbs under there with some toys or "hides" there.
he has a fascination with throwing things into water, so i put his small wading pool next to the climber and he throws things from the platform into it. he also loves climbing up and going down the slide (which is the perfect length, not too short like some of the other climber's seem to be)...all in all, i am so thrilled with this product and will definitely buy more step2 brand items in the future. great buy!!
(babyage's shipping cost is also second to none...product was pretty much on time-just one day late, no biggie, and i think this was due to the shipping company, not babyage-they say to allow 4-5 days and the ship date was consistent with that. the climber also arrived in absolutely perfect condition. i have paid much more for shipping to find my product arrives with a box in pieces and parts bent! will definitely buy from babyage again also.) |
Great for variety of ages and attractive to adults

| Our almost 3 year old son was thrilled when he got this climber today. He can climb the small rock wall but not the tall one yet so there's room to grow. A friend's 15 month old had fun climbing up the stairs and down the slide repeatedly, and our 5 and 6 year old neighbors kept climbing up and jumping off, having a ball. All in all, a great climber for a variety of ages. It was a hot day and they all liked taking a break by laying in the shady "fort" underneath. The colors are really nice and it blends into our yard and patio well. Now we just need to get mulch or something for underneath of it. |

| Absolutely wonderful investment for my grandchildren. It's in our family room where we all gather so the kids are interacting with everyone while having a great time. My 2 year old grandson climbs, slides, and hides while his younger brother plays below. We used the cushioned blocks under the playset to give them a safe spot to land. I'm so happy we made this fun, durable, engaging purchase. |
best investment for toddler

| We got this climber for my little girl when she was just 1.5, and have absolutely loved it ever since. It's intended for outdoor use but we put it in the living room, great for inclement weather play. She used it for climbing, as a fort, a play-house, etc. both for gross motor development / active play and imaginative play. She has gotten countless hours of use out of it. She even naps in there from time to time. My husband dislikes having it in the house, but the colors are muted and it's really not all that big, considering the amount of fun our girl has on it. I'm not at all a fan of plastic toys, most of our toys are natural materials, but I'm happy to make an exception here, and would recommend this climber to anyone with a child under 5 years old. |

Bought this play climber for my grandson, who is 11 months. He loves it!!
Goes down the slide headfirst, without any fear. Has learned how to climb up
the ladder. He likes that he can hide inside the castle, so his parents put plastic
balls inside to make it more fun. It fits in his bedroom perfectly & gives him
somewhere to play in the winter. |
